These piece was done shortly after a big Snow Fall. 

That left large balls of snow on the small bushy Hawthornes.

The figure seems to be adding some mysterious presence.

I had some fun sketching these poppies on to 

a mixed media background.  The colour is always a

draw and they are also not to busy a flower to paint.
